3rd December 2011

Connolly's Red Mills would like to congratulate Ireland's Billy Twomey, who claimed the trophy in Paris, France, at the Rolex Top Ten Final, edging out Canada's world number one rider Eric Lamaze. Twomey, piloting Sue Davies's chestnut mare Tinka's Serenade, cleared two fantastic rounds and beat Lamaze by a fifth of a second to claim first place and collect a cool €50,000 in price money and a Rolex watch for his outstanding performace.

Twomey's next outing is at the Paris Gucci Masters, along with Mark McAuley and Denis Lynch, where all three have their eyes on Sundays Gucci Grand Prix where the combined prize money jumps to €300,000, with the winner taking home €75,000.
